Simply ingenious and ingeniously simple, the Hybrid kites by Swiss designer Thomas K Horvath grace the sky. Horvath currently lives and works in Zurich. While working on his degree in architecture, he was working with light, often collapsible structures and began looking at the development and design of kites. After completing his degree, he worked with nameable architects before opening his own studio for architecture and industrial design.
Horvath has now cut back his architecture duties to focus on developing synergetic kites that are inspired by the flying techniques and aerodynamics of birds. The result is high-tech kites without embellishment, designed for pure enjoyment.
Hovarth synergetic kites are active, steerable, extremely light zero-wind kites with great snatch that allow for extreme gliding and floating. The synergetic kites are the UL slow-flyers among the light-wind kites. They are pure flying machines that glide across long expanses of sky, that can still be steered. They are produced with extreme precision using the best materials.
Hybrid 130 The Hybrid 130 requires only minimal space, and has very subtle and capable steering.
